The objective of XOVis is to gain insights into how OLPC's XO laptops are used in classrooms. Data on XO usage is collected from activity log backups on the school server. Subsequently, the data is processed and imported into a database and finally visualized using interactive charts. The application that implements the visualization of the data is called XOVis, a Couch App.
The challenge is to modularize the app and update the graphics.
